Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Specialist to join our team at Mercury Systems. As an Electronics Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical sub-systems integrating electronic components from work instructions and assembly drawings
- Manipulate items using a variety of tools
- Perform functional testing of sub-systems following manufacturing test procedures
- Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately
- Operate and troubleshoot production line machinery and computers
- Continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
- Self-monitor workmanship
- Understand and follow all safety requirements, as well as ISO practices and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 or more years of experience in the electronics assembly field, including sub-system mechanical assemblies
- Experience with torque driver, electric screw guns, screwdrivers, etc.
- ESD knowledgeable
Preferred Qualifications
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Mechanical assembly skills, including the ability to recognize non-conformities
- Follow manufacturing test procedures functionally testing product, including Hi-Pot testing
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlines
- Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior
