- Diagnose and rectify issues in vehicles entering the shop
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
- Conduct thorough inspections of all vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
- Prepare repair estimates and timelines, communicating information to clients in an understandable manner
- Maintain precise records and documentation for the repair shop
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory
- Completion of an automotive service technician training program or an associate degree is preferred
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) certification is advantageous
- Strong customer service and communication skills are essential
