Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of team members involved in the repair, upkeep, and installation of machinery, tools, and equipment, as well as ensuring environmental compliance and maintaining facilities and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess job orders to establish work priorities and schedule necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Supervise the activities of team members involved in the fabrication or modification of machinery and tools to enhance product manufacturing.
  • Oversee maintenance operations on utility systems to guarantee a continuous supply of essential resources such as heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
  • Analyze production, quality control, and maintenance reports to adjust maintenance strategies as needed.
  • Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Design and implement innovative methods and procedures aimed at improving operations and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Consult with design engineers regarding equipment requirements and modifications for new product initiatives.
  • Order necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for operational needs.
  • Facilitate training and orientation for team members to enhance performance and familiarize them with company policies.
  • Engage with management, engineering, and quality control teams to address maintenance challenges and propose improvements.
  • Assist the Plant Manager in preparing the departmental budget.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations in line with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Prepare and manage machine preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Identify and plan for replacement parts needed for mechanical repairs, presenting recommendations for approval.
  • Organize and assign daily and weekly tasks to maintenance personnel.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Commit to working the necessary hours to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED certificate, or have five years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
