About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Cooperative Development Team at Center For Family Life. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and success of our worker-owned businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process orders and assign worker-owners to jobs based on internal job roster
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and support and troubleshooting for worker-owners
  • Learn and communicate job assignation and service policies used by Up & Go
  • Respond to customer inquiries and needs in a professional and timely manner
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work with team members to resolve customer complaints and improve sales, marketing, and service policies
  • Invoice commercial cleaning customers monthly and track invoices in Excel
  • Accompany worker-owners on commercial walk-throughs to support communication and negotiation with clients
  • Support worker-owners in creating estimates and drafting contracts for commercial jobs
Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Professional and clear communicator
  • Experience in customer service or sales, especially in the service industry
  • A warm, people-oriented demeanor
  • Team player and enjoys working collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented
  • Basic computer skills, with experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or high school diploma with experience in customer service
What We Offer
  • Full-time, 35 hours/week, 9:00AM - 5:00PM schedule
  • Occasional evening or weekend meetings
  • 3 days a week in-person work in our office located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn
  • Salary: $38,000 - $43,000 per year (dependent on experience)
  • Benefits package, including up to 20 vacation days per year, paid sick days, 14 paid holidays per year, health care package, access to a 403(B) Retirement plan, and flexible spending accounts
