Job Title: Senior Paralegal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our Real Estate team in Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; or Chicago, IL office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to attorneys and clients in the preparation and execution of real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and manage due diligence checklists, coordinate with third parties, and oversee closing calls.
  • Manage virtual data rooms and review title and survey documents.
  • Draft purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan agreements, and other ancillary documents.
  • Conduct and review UCC judgment and lien searches at federal, state, and county levels.
  • Organize and distribute closing binders and other post-closing deliverables.
  • Interface directly with clients and other business parties to coordinate due diligence, closing, and funding.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience.
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or graduation from an institutionally accredited program with equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task efficiently, and be an independent thinker.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize workflow, and manage projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Significant client management experience.
  • Exercise significant independent judgment and discretion in managing client team activities.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
