Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Care Specialist to join our team at BrightStar Senior Living of Madison. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, in accordance with their individual care plans.
  • Provide medical and clinical assistance, including taking vital signs and administering medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Assist with household and recreational activities, promoting a sense of community and socialization among residents.
  • Document resident care and progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the unique needs and preferences of each resident are met.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid state nursing assistant certification (CNA) or equivalent experience.
  • One year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring residents, with or without reasonable accommodation.
