Job Overview

Position Type: Regular Full-time NY/NJ

The Senior Installation Technician is tasked with ensuring the meticulous installation of new products while adhering to established timelines and budgetary constraints, including Hufcor and other offerings provided by the distributorship.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the installation of all products sold by the distributorship in accordance with the predetermined schedule and budget
  • Address and resolve field and site challenges that may hinder the successful completion of projects
  • Confirm and finalize field measurements and site conditions
  • Complete punch lists and obtain necessary customer approvals
  • Generate leads for service or maintenance contracts
  • Provide assistance with service projects as required
  • Engage in cross-training for additional responsibilities
  • Contribute to ongoing process enhancements
  • Ensure timely and precise completion of essential tasks
  • Actively participate in achieving corporate objectives
  • Travel to other distributor locations as requested, when feasible

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of construction practices
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Capability to obtain certification for construction equipment such as lifts
  • Ability to pass any site-required drug tests and background checks
  • Competence in reading blueprints and layouts
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Education equivalent to a high school diploma
  • At least two years of experience in the construction field
