Salary Range:
A reasonable estimate for an appointment to teach a standard five-credit course is $8,282 - $10,186 (based on salary points 1-8). Please refer to the UCSC Salary Scales for more information.
Compensation for Summer Session courses may differ from courses taught during the academic year.Percent Time:

Anticipated Start:
Appointments are contingent on the instructional needs of the hiring unit and the availability of funding.

Appointments are typically made for one or more quarters of the regular academic year, but may also include Summer Session.

Position Description
The Film and Digital Media Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz invites applications for an ongoing pool of lecturers to teach film and video production courses.
Qualified candidates with university-level teaching experience and those who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the undergraduate and graduate programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Applicants must hold an M.F.A. (or equivalent foreign degree) in film, art, or a related creative field; or possess a demonstrated record of creative work, evidenced by exhibitions in museums, galleries, film festivals, or other venues.
Teaching Experience:
Previous teaching experience is required.
