Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit & Subsidiaries. As a Business Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating and providing various employer-based programs and services offered through our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison for employer-related activities, working closely with employers to understand their current and future workforce needs.
  • Assist employers in identifying workforce skills gaps and develop plans to overcome these gaps.
  • Coordinate supports and resources with various stakeholders, including Oakland County Workforce Development, Oakland County Planning and Economic Development, Michigan Economic Development, and local area training vendors.
  • Work with employers and their employees during Rapid Response meetings and Trade Act petitions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with performance-based workforce development programs.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet skills.
  • Ability to effectively impart program and service information to customers.
