Director, Building and Facilities Operations

The Director, Building and Facilities Operations will oversee all aspects of building facilities, including physical security operations, landlord relations, acquisition of real estate, construction, capital improvements, space planning, complex building and power systems, general maintenance, furniture, building support services, security controls, and safety functions at all locations. This role ensures a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors while maintaining regulatory compliance, including OSHA, ADA, city fire codes, and state elevator codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deliver, and direct all strategic objectives relative to project planning, design, construction, and/or remodels of new and existing Corporate Office, financial centers, Real Estate Leased properties, and proprietary ATM kiosks.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage new builds and/or remodels, project teams.
  • Developing project plans, scheduling and managing project meetings with internal/external staff, overseeing contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, providing onsite support, managing project budgets, and overseeing vendor/contractor payments.
  • Ensuring timelines and deadlines are met.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Facilities Management, Management Engineering, or Property Management, or five to seven years of job-related experience, including at least five years in project management.
  • Five to seven years in credit union operations, project, and administration management.
  • People Management: Excellent communicator, both oral and written, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic Project Management: Proficient in project management tools and techniques, familiar with construction software and Share Point.
  • Budget Management: Skills in managing large budgets for multiple financial centers, forecasting facilities budgets, monitoring expenses, and estimating future costs.
