Friendship Public Charter School is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our students receive high-quality meals that meet our nutritional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective food production, sanitation, and safety practices.
- Supervise the use of commercial food service equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Estimate and order food quantities to meet nutritional standards and budget requirements.
- Assist in requisitioning, receiving, and storing food and supplies.
- Prepare, cook, and bake a wide variety of food in large quantities, adhering to nutritional guidelines.
- Supervise kitchen staff and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory and maintain accurate records of food and supply usage.
Requirements:
- Two years of experience in managing food service operations.
- Computer experience, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Two years of experience in food preparation and serving large quantities.
- High school diploma or GED.
- ServSafe Manager Certification.
