Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations of circuit boards to identify defects such as shorts, excess or missing solder, scratches, cracks, and improper component placement.
  • Perform both automated and visual inspections of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components as necessary.
  • Engage in routine maintenance and calibration of machinery to uphold operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality benchmarks by approving materials during in-process inspections across all product lines.
  • Verify adherence to specified dimensions and tolerances.
  • Provide training to personnel on the use of automated inspection equipment as required.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned, accommodating individuals with disabilities to fulfill essential job functions.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in quality inspection methodologies.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Work Environment

This position is conducted entirely on-site in a climate-controlled facility. The standard working hours are during the first shift, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Employees are required to wear protective gear, including heel straps and lab coats. While performing job duties, individuals may encounter moving mechanical parts and potential hazards (chemical, mechanical, and/or radiant energy). It is important to note that the noise level in the work environment is typically moderate, and all tasks are performed indoors.
