This role requires a deep understanding of food safety regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production lines, raw materials, and finished products
  • Monitor HACCP critical control points
  • Ensure all records are organized and kept up to date as per any changes
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints
  • Train and mentor junior QA staff and production personnel on quality standards and procedures
  • Identify areas for improvement in the production process and quality control systems
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO)
  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment and conducting microbiological and chemical analyses
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
