Job Overview:
The Tennessee Department of Treasury seeks a skilled Retirement Quality Assurance Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of benefit estimates, retirement benefits, and service purchase calculations. This involves verifying data, formulas, and monthly amounts or costs, as well as testing and monitoring system solutions and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify member and employer data on retirement applications and benefit calculations
Audit recalculations and adjustments made to original benefit calculations
Review data and eligibility for service purchase requests and service purchase costs
Verify submitted audit service requests used for changing service and/or plan type on a member's record
Review benefit estimates for accuracy
Assist with testing the functionality of system solutions and/or improvements

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field
Two years of relevant full-time experience
Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation
Experience in a governmental sector preferred
