VAS Region Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at CBRE's VAS Region. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing local and regional business marketing and development strategies with the Valuation & Advisory Services (VAS) business line.
About the JobKey Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to gain an understanding of their business goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic direction toward the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
- Set and measure operational and financial goals for client accounts.
- Provide oversight on profit and loss for accounts including budget and forecast development, monthly business reviews, and achievement of sales targets.
- Review financial reports and develop cases for budgets and reserve investments while prioritizing key initiatives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, including business leaders, investment partners, and potential customers.
- Apply a robust knowledge of multiple fields, the business, and key drivers that impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
- Identify and tackle problems using the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
- Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job field.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE's RISE values.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Real Estate license required.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
- Ability to lead the exchange of complicated and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to set and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Expert organizational skills and an inquisitive approach.
- Sophisticated math skills.
