Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the pastry section, ensuring top-quality production and presentation of desserts
  • Develop and execute innovative dessert menus that incorporate a fusion of Asian and European influences
  • Manage pastry production for high-volume service, maintaining quality and efficiency
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of dessert menus
  • Monitor ingredient quality, maintain stock levels, and ensure cost control to optimize profitability
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef in fine dining establishments, with a strong track record of innovation and excellence
  • Strong knowledge of both Asian and European pastry techniques, with a passion for creating unique and visually stunning desserts
  • Ability to manage high-volume production while maintaining exceptional quality and presentation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor
