Opportunity Overview:
Centurion Managed Care is in search of a committed Regional Medical Director to oversee healthcare operations for incarcerated individuals.
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for providing critical medical leadership in partnership with the Regional Operations Manager/Vice President, which includes:
- Ensuring that clinical and utilization management align with contractual obligations.
- Guiding and assessing the performance of medical and utilization management teams.
- Advocating for high-quality care grounded in evidence-based methodologies.
- Serving as a consultant for behavioral health and ancillary personnel.
- Acting as a representative for correctional healthcare services to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid MD/DO license
- Board certification in a relevant specialty
- Preferred experience in clinical leadership roles
- Must be able to pass a background screening
