Job Summary:

The MaineHealth Medical Group and MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children's Service Line are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician-Regional Medical Director to lead our pediatric primary care services. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician leader to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of children in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with MHBBCSL and MHMG Southern Region primary care leadership to ensure alignment of workflows and initiatives to benefit the MH Southern Region pediatric populations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality, safety, and financial performance of pediatric practices.
  • Collaborate with MHBBC Service line, discipline leaders, residency, and medical student program directors to continue our commitment to outpatient teaching.
  • Lead a team of medical directors accountable for translating strategies into day-to-day practice operations.

Requirements:

  • MD/DO/NP/PA required from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of clinical practice experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive management experience.
