Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Under the direction of a physician, the Medical Assistant performs various tasks to meet the personal needs and comforts of patients. This role supports the mission and values of WakeMed and requires registration/certification from a recognized medical organization.

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician

Maintain registration/certification from a recognized medical organization
Requirements:
2 Years Clinical Experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred)
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Graduate Medical Assisting Preferred
Certified Medical Assistant Required - Within 24 Months of Hire Or Registered Medical Assistant Required - Within 24 Months of Hire
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Sat/Sun 8am-4pm, Variable
Weekend and Call Requirements:
Every Other Weekend - No Call Requirements
