Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatric Technician I/CORRECTIONAL HEALTH Professional to join our team at the County of Los Angeles, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities.

Job Description:

  • Provides mental health services to clients in a correctional facility setting.
  • Works under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional to assess and treat clients with mental health issues.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans to address client needs.
  • Maintains accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress.

Requirements:

  • Valid California license as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a mental health or corrections setting preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
