Salary and Benefits

Job Summary

The Mental Health Assistant will assist professional staff members in delivering mental health services to emotionally disturbed or mentally ill clients. This includes applying principles of mental health in relationships with clients, observing and evaluating client condition, recording and reporting significant changes, and providing direct and indirect patient care.


Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess a valid and active license as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians. A valid California Class C Driver License or ability to utilize alternative transportation is also required.
