Job Overview

As a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the complex and diversified assembly of various products, utilizing mechanical drawings or work instructions. Your attention to detail and ability to work with intricate parts will be essential in completing products, units, or sub-assemblies. You will work with hand tools and machines to perform the assembly, following a schedule provided by SAP and management.

A Day in the Life
  • Assemble and/or wire complex equipment, following blueprints, models, and prints, requiring skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning within close tolerances.
  • Follow work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain basic production machines, such as component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting, or encapsulation machines.
  • Be flexible and able to perform various operations on products in and outside of your home department.
  • Use hand and power tools as required.
  • Build harness assemblies.
  • Lightly use computers to monitor and report job status and component availability, requiring the ability to open prints or work instructions from the system and write to Excel or SAP databases.
  • May perform through-hole PCB assembly.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by your Supervisor.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Strive to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.
  • Follow proper use of PPEs to promote a safe work environment and perform 5S steps to ensure a clean, hazard-free, and efficient work area.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience, with mechanical assembly and electronic/electrical safety knowledge acceptable.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, read and identify proper components and color schemes.
  • Present excellent workmanship standards.
  • Have good verbal communication skills.
