Job Summary

Responsible for complex assembly of various products, following mechanical drawings or work instructions. Requires intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of multiple parts with close tolerances. Hand tools and machine operation are necessary for assembly. Follows schedule provided by SAP and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and/or wire complex equipment following blueprints, models, and prints. Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required within close tolerances.
  • Follows work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures.
  • Sets up, operates, and maintains basic production machines such as component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting or encapsulation machines.
  • Is flexible and able to perform many operations on product in and outside of home department.
  • Uses hand and power tools as required.
  • Builds harness assemblies.
  • Light usage of computers to monitor and report job status and component availability.
  • May perform thru-hole PCB assembly.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Works overtime as required.
  • Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.
  • Follows proper use of PPE's to promote a safe work environment and performs 5S steps to ensure clean, hazard-free, and efficient work area.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience. Mechanical assembly with electronic/electrical safety knowledge is acceptable.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics; read and identify proper components and color schemes.
  • Must present excellent workmanship standards.
  • Must have good verbal communication skills.
