Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Hubbell Power Systems. As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling complex products, following blueprints, models, and product structures. You will work with a variety of parts, using hand tools and machines to perform intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and/or wire complex equipment following blueprints, models, and product structures.
  • Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required within close tolerances.
  • Follow work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain basic production machines such as component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting or encapsulation machines.
  • Use hand and power tools as required.
  • Build harness assemblies.
  • Light usage of computers to monitor and report job status and component availability.
  • May perform thru-hole PCB assembly.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience.
  • Mechanical assembly with electronic/electrical safety knowledge is acceptable.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics; read and identify proper components and color schemes.
  • Must present excellent workmanship standards.
  • Must have good verbal communication skills.
