At Tuesday Morning, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales results by implementing sales-generating strategies and controlling expenses.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising associates and addressing customer complaints.
  • Oversee merchandising and presentation, including developing a total store look and maintaining the front sidewalk and entrance displays.
  • Assist with staffing and training, including interviewing, hiring, and orienting new associates.
  • Build effective teams by communicating company policies and procedures, fostering a work environment that encourages creativity and innovation, and coaching associates to improvement.
  • Work with the Store Manager to oversee loss prevention programs, including cash control, security systems, and refund procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of recent retail and supervisory experience required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead, make decisions, and explain procedures.
  • Ability to analyze numbers, resolve problems, and demonstrate reasoning, adaptability, and conceptualizing.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry products weighing less than 5 pounds and occasionally lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds.
