We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee our team of Mass Tort Case Managers handling sensitive and traumatic materials. This role requires substantial experience in managing social workers and case managers, with a strong emphasis on providing emotional support and leveraging data insights to drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of case managers and social workers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Provide emotional and professional support to team members, leveraging social work expertise to help them manage the emotional demands of their work.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of sexual abuse and mass tort case workup, from intake to resolution, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance case management processes and outcomes, applying social work principles to improve client interactions and case resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal legal teams, review and Quality Control teams, and other stakeholders to strengthen the team's ability to build robust, evidence-based cases.
  • Engage actively with law firm partners regarding case progress and status, ensuring client satisfaction and effective communication.
  • Utilize proprietary case management software and other technological tools to track case progress, manage documentation, and facilitate communication with all parties involved.
  • Promote continuous learning and development within the team through training programs, incorporating social work methodologies and trauma-informed care principles.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience managing social workers and case managers, particularly in legal or mass tort settings.
  • Experience working with survivors of sexual abuse.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data insights and reporting to drive improvements.
  • Proven track record of providing emotional support to teams working with sensitive and traumatic materials.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes and requirements for mass tort litigation.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to prepare detailed, accurate, and compelling case documentation.
  • Experience with case management software and CRMs.
  • Resilience with the ability to handle emotionally challenging material.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to team, claimant, and client interaction.
