About the Role:
  • The Administrative Field Technician will assist with purchasing, project document control, material takeoffs, and quotes.
  • This role involves supporting delivery receiving, scheduling, and inventory management, utilizing a forklift for organization.
  • The Administrative Field Technician will also back up dispatching of skilled labor from local union halls, ensuring requests align with project specifications.
  • Key responsibilities include processing new hires: badging, pre-employment drug screening, orientation, training, and provision of PPE and documentation.
  • Maintaining records and documentation as required for dispatching, hiring, and other tasks is crucial.
  • Daily timecards, badging setup, and scheduling will be managed by the successful candidate.
  • The position requires regular communication and timely updates with the General Contractor.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative support role or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Experience in admin/field support within construction is highly valued.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, good judgment, and communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and assignments simultaneously is necessary.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are key requirements.
  • Confidentiality and responsibility when handling sensitive materials/information are mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • The estimated salary for this role is between $21.00 - $27.00 per hour.
