Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of experienced professionals at three physically diverse locations.
  • Lead, direct, and review the work of the team.
  • Provide primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.
  • Update and support current systems, including tuning performance, allocating storage space, and implementing critical system patches.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including diagrams, configuration details, admin guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage laptop and desktop imaging process, including infrastructure to support this activity.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Track task and project performance of direct reports, analyzing successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
  • ITIL Certified.
  • 5+ years of Operations Manager experience in areas of Availability Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Disaster Recovery Management, Continuous Monitoring Management, Change Management, Patch Management.
  • Experience with training and mentoring new and existing members of the Operations Team.
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • 5- 10+ years of Linux experience.
  • DoD 8570 Level II - Security+CE.
  • 8+ years of experience in presentation and briefing.
  • 8+ years of experience in planning and delegation for efficient team operations.
  • Bachelor's degree.
