The ideal candidate will understand the importance of the Front Office as a key interaction point for guests. A natural ability to build relationships is essential, as is a commitment to guest satisfaction from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet each guest warmly, maintaining eye contact, and personally escort them to their accommodations, ensuring a memorable arrival experience.
  • Demonstrate consistent courtesy and professionalism, reflecting the highest standards of hospitality.
  • Maintain impeccable personal grooming and adhere to the dress code, showcasing sophistication while on duty.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across various departments, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Handle all guest interactions with utmost professionalism, accommodating special requests and resolving any issues with grace.
  • Provide exceptional service by assisting guests with their belongings and offering help as needed in the lobby area.
  • Conduct thorough room orientations during guest escort, showcasing genuine interest and anticipatory service.
  • Manage guest luggage with care, ensuring accurate tagging and timely delivery to rooms, while maintaining meticulous records.
  • Uphold the front office and lobby's pristine appearance, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
  • Assist with guest relocations when necessary, ensuring smooth transitions and continued satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks as required, including handling dry cleaning, delivering items to guest rooms, and responding to special requests promptly.
  • Be knowledgeable about fire and safety protocols, providing assistance during emergencies as needed.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and adhere to all operational standards, policies, and safety protocols.
  • Stay informed about safety and emergency procedures, including OSHA requirements, to ensure preparedness.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Bellman or in a similar guest service role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of handling a high volume of guest interactions courteously.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and contribute positively as a team member.
Working Environment:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Capability to navigate the property efficiently and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Work environment characteristics typical of a luxury hotel setting.
