POSITION SUMMARY
The ERP Solutions Analyst plays a crucial role in providing analytical support and ERP system management for EMCOR Government Services. The primary focus will be on Vista applications and associated business systems.
While the headquarters is located in McLean, Virginia, candidates from other locations may be considered for remote work. This position may require travel up to 40% by car or airplane.
COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
Additional Compensation: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are essential to the role, and additional responsibilities may be assigned:
- Assist the ERP implementation team, emphasizing operational applications and business workflows.
- Address end-user inquiries and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with the Application Administrator through a ticketing system.
- Document and develop business processes, technical system functions, and application procedures.
- Oversee various ERP and EGS initiatives and projects, which may involve financial analysis, report preparation, training, and documentation.

- Familiarity with the construction project lifecycle from concept through design, build, and maintenance.
- Understanding of project accounting principles and processes within a construction context.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of leading professional meetings.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse team members across various disciplines.
- A proactive approach to change management and the ability to see initiatives through to completion.
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 5 - 10 years of experience in an accounting environment, ideally within mechanical or electrical construction sectors.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, operations management, and safety practices is advantageous.
- Experience with Vista Viewpoint software is preferred.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management skills to meet frequent deadlines.
- Strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of work.
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Viewpoint Vista is essential.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands of this role are typical of an office environment. The employee will regularly communicate verbally and in writing, and may need to retrieve files and meet with colleagues in various settings. Extended periods of computer use are expected.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is primarily office-based, with a typical noise level associated with such environments.
