POSITION SUMMARY
The ERP Solutions Analyst plays a crucial role in providing support and analytical services for ERP systems utilized by EMCOR Construction Services. The primary focus will be on Vista applications and other related business systems.
This position is based in McLean, Virginia, with the possibility of remote work. Travel requirements may reach up to 40%, either by car or airplane.
COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus in accordance with company policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are essential to the role, with additional responsibilities likely assigned:
- Assist the ERP implementation team with a focus on operational applications and business processes.
- Address end-user inquiries; troubleshoot issues and collaborate with the Application Administrator through a ticketing system.
- Document and develop business, technical, and application processes, functions, and procedures.
- Oversee various ERP and ECS initiatives and projects as needed, which may involve financial analysis, report preparation, training, and documentation.
CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS
This position requires a high level of service, commitment, and execution. The following attributes are essential:
- Understanding of the construction project lifecycle from conception to operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with project accounting principles in a construction context.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of leading meetings professionally.
- Interpersonal skills to interpret diverse communication styles among team members.
- A proactive approach to change management and the ability to follow through on initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- 5 - 10 years of experience in an accounting department, preferably within mechanical or electrical construction sectors.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, operations management, and safety practices is advantageous.
- Experience with Vista Viewpoint software is required.
