Position Overview: The Lead Event Installation Supervisor is a pivotal role in event management, combining leadership, driving, and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide a team of installation professionals.
  • Safely operate box trucks and vans for transporting equipment.
  • Efficiently load and unload event materials.
  • Transport crew members to various event locations.

The Supervisor is expected to exhibit safe driving practices, maintain a customer-centric approach, and demonstrate a strong commitment to work ethics.

Additional Duties Include:

  • Setting up and dismantling drapes, furniture, and equipment at event sites.
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow installers as part of a cohesive team.

The ideal candidate will showcase strong leadership abilities by taking initiative, prioritizing customer satisfaction, and managing multiple events successfully.

Under the guidance of the General Manager and Operations Manager, the role entails:

  • Leading and participating in event setups and takedowns.
  • Managing a team of installers effectively.
  • Coordinating the delivery and collection of equipment and crew.
  • Preparing for daily tasks both in the warehouse and on-site.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles at both the warehouse and job sites.
  • Completing warehouse responsibilities after on-site duties are fulfilled.

The candidate must possess the ability to lead multiple teams of installers while managing the pressures of concurrent jobs and crews. Fluency in English is required, along with a professional appearance, reliable transportation, and punctuality.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience driving box trucks and vans.
  • Ability to operate Quest light-duty vans.
  • Successful completion of Quest's written and practical driving assessments.
  • Submission to an annual review of driving records (no DUIs, etc.).
  • Capability to drive all company vehicles, including medium-duty trucks (e.g., 16' box truck).
