Job Summary

The Procedures Coordinator is responsible for performing work related to the procedural and administrative needs of the Medicaid program. This includes staying up-to-date with policy changes, ensuring that forms are easily understood by staff and clients, and providing information to staff on Medicaid rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and operation of forms and special forms projects, demonstrating detailed knowledge of the Medicaid program.
  • Receive and review Local Law 73 and Local Law 30 finalized text translations, addressing procedural problems and ensuring effective coordination of MAP procedural functions.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual status reports to track project-related goals.
  • Interpret policies and procedures, providing information to staff on Medicaid rules and regulations.
  • Update the approved MAP/MARC user listing and work on other projects as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, including one year of administrative or supervisory experience. Alternatively, you may have an associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and four years of experience, or a four-year high school diploma and five years of experience.
