Job Summary

The Systems Engineering Directorate at Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).

Responsibilities
  • Develop concepts of operations for radar systems
  • Design and develop radar processing algorithms
  • Develop radar software requirements
  • Analyze radar performance data using statistical and numerical methods
  • Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution
  • Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
  • Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
  • Additional focus areas include signal processing and waveform design, electronic protection methods, phased array and digital beamforming technology, radar search, track and discrimination design, target and threat modeling, integration and test of large radar systems, MBSE
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 7 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
