About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our REBEP Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting the production builds and lifecycle support of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement receiver and exciter architecture, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and interfaces between subsystems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues in radar receiver and exciter systems.
  • Design and implement signal processing algorithms to meet system needs.
  • Interface with customers to provide technical solutions and program status.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in radar receiver/exciter system analysis, design, and/or test, or experience with signal processing techniques and methods.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RF chain design and analysis.
  • Experience with radar receiver/exciter integration and test.
  • Experience with IQ/signal processing analysis in Matlab, C/C++, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Experience in troubleshooting radar systems, root cause identification, corrective action implementation, and associated documentation.
