PACS System Administrator

The Mercy Health System is seeking a highly skilled PACS System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS).
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and maintenance for the PACS system, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with the Radiology team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to image workflow, archiving, and other related activities.
Develop and implement testing programs to ensure reliability of computerized procedures in compliance with federal regulations.
Maintain and update application tables using PACS administration software.
Ensure proper operation of DICOM digital image data transfer into the PACS and CPACS from all radiology and cardiology modalities.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited AMA radiological training program or equivalent with work experience in a radiology department.
Knowledge of workstations and server administration, HL7 interfaces, DICOM interfaces, and overall network infrastructure and related SQL databases.
PACS experience required, with a working knowledge of radiology department workflow, processes, protocols, systems techniques, methods, and equipment.
ARRT certified or 10 years relevant Radiology or Cardiology experience.
