About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Trump National Doral - Miami. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of food, as well as supervising and training other culinary staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in the planning and preparation of menus, including the development of new menu items and specials.
  • Supervise and train culinary staff, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new culinary concepts and programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience, preferably in a high-end hotel or resort setting.
  • High school education required, minimum of 3 years of culinary schooling preferred.
  • Ability to obtain state health department certificate for food safety and sanitation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions

The Sous Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and other hazards. The ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects is required.
