Financial Analyst Job Description

OCT Consulting LLC is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support the CISA Cybersecurity Division (CSD).

The successful candidate will analyze government budgets, expenditures, and financial performance to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze government budgets and financial data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support decision-making by government officials and agencies.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of government policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with government departments and agencies to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience leading a team of financial and budget analysts.
  • 8 years of demonstrated budget formulation experience, with a minimum of 5 years of DHS PPBE experience.
  • 10 years of demonstrated experience conducting audits, preparing financial reports, and managing portfolios.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must hold a current DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
