About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Clark Pacific. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing accurate and on-time weekly payroll for all Admin and/or Yard employees in accordance with Labor Law, Union Agreements and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees
  • Manage the collection of hours worked and enter them into the timekeeping system
  • Ensure the accuracy of time entered by employees and supervisors
  • Calculate add-on rates including but not limited to Vacation and Sick Pay into the timekeeping system each week
  • Assist in the audit process for all Payroll Groups
  • Research and respond to questions about time and add-ons/extras from employees
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with Union Payroll and Prevailing Wage required
  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred
  • American Payroll Association FPC or CCP certification preferred
  • Experience working with accounting and payroll software
