Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the southwest territory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and exceeding regional targets in all market segments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, with a proven track record of success in managing sales teams and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic territory plan, including sales and related activities such as lead generation, cold calling, nurturing, product demonstrations, sales calls, and presenting at technical seminars.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the customer relationship management (CRM) system daily and completing weekly reports, as well as providing feedback on market trends, competitive activity/reconnaissance, and other information that may be of value for corporate goal attainment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive sales growth and exceed regional targets
- Manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitive activity/reconnaissance, and other information that may be of value for corporate goal attainment
- Maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system daily and complete weekly reports
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or engineering
- A minimum of 5 years' sales experience, including people management
- Experience with channel partners is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP or another CRM platform
- Ability to travel up to 50% overnight and 20% local within assigned territory
