Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Del Taco. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the restaurant to achieve sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality restaurant employees who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure all team members are certified and equipped to meet Del Taco standards.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes learning, development, and career growth.
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Execute Del Taco standards and processes to ensure consistency and quality in all aspects of restaurant operations.
    • Maintain a clean and safe facility, including customer areas, equipment, and inventory management.
    • Deliver high-quality products to Del Taco standards every time, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales and Profitability
    • Assist in identifying and communicating sales goals, ensuring the right people are in the right places to meet projected sales.
    • Develop and execute strategies to increase customer count, check average, and maximize capacity and customer value.
    • Manage inventory, labor costs, and controllable expenses to achieve profitability targets.
  • Customer Service and Experience
    • Ensure a consistent service experience, executing speed and service standards to meet customer expectations.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the QSR industry or full-service concept, or 1-3 years of experience within Del Taco management.
  • ServSafe certification and knowledge of Del Taco food safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and math skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure, and lead a diverse team.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and use of personal vehicle for business purposes.
