Job Title: Behavior Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team at The Edinburg Center. As a Behavior Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or Autism. Your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and positive behavior support will enable you to design and implement effective plans to promote positive behavior and skill acquisition. Responsibilities: * Conduct functional behavior assessments and learning needs assessments in family homes * Design positive behavior support and skill acquisition plans with individualized behavioral goals * Implement, model, and monitor progress of individualized plans based on data analysis under the supervision of a BCBA * Collaborate with youth team members * Assist in training parents and caregivers who implement plans with children and families on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis Requirements: * BA in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Special Education or human service-related field REQUIRED * Experience (minimum 2 years) in implementing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) REQUIRED * Experience in implementing positive behavior support plans and teaching new skills * Experience working with youth 21 years and under with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or Autism * Highly organized * Excellent written and interpersonal skills, team player * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for providing in-home behavioral services support What We Offer: * Excellent benefits package for both full and part-time staff, including health and dental, vision, life, short and long term disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan * Paid time off benefits include vacation, personal, sick, and holidays * Tuition reimbursement, conference, seminar, certification, and specialized training funding * Free clinical supervision for licensure Our Culture: We are a dedicated team of professionals who have chosen to join an organization with a forty-year history of serving people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, brain injury, and autism in the community.
