About the Job

Vinfen is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team in providing high-quality, evidence-based outpatient therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing mental health or co-occurring disorders and/or behavioral health concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient and family-centered clinical assessments and evaluations, engaging the client and family in the treatment planning process.
  • Collaborate with the MCI and CCS CBHC teams by participating in clinical huddles, treatment planning, referrals, case reviews, and other mechanisms to ensure care is coordinated.
  • Maintain an appropriate caseload of clients, with a frequency of interventions, that supports the client's specific needs as reflected in the treatment plan.
  • Ensure recordkeeping/documentation is in accordance with internal and external requirements and regulations.
  • Coordinate treatment and care with other providers, including primary care, medical specialists, or other programs like day treatment.
  • Work as liaison between Vinfen programs, state agencies, funding sources, and community referral sources.
  • Participate in educational trainings, seminars, grand rounds, and clinical rounds.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and contracted payor requirements.
  • Provide after-hours on-call coverage in rotation with other program staff.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a related clinical field is required.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient or similar behavioral health (mental health or substance use) setting is required.
  • LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC I, or LMFT in Massachusetts is preferred; in lieu of licensure, license eligibility is required.
  • CANS certified is preferred but not required.
  • Preference given to bilingual/bicultural applicants.
  • Familiar with behavioral health, substance/addiction disorders, and psychiatric conditions.
  • Skilled in the provision of brief treatment and crisis interventions.
  • Experienced in use of empowerment and self-advocacy techniques.
  • Knowledge of available community resources and alternative levels of care.
  • Experienced with telehealth technologies.
  • Must be able to complete CPR, First Aid, and CPSS certification trainings within defined timelines.
