Job Overview

Wayzata Brands is dedicated to fostering innovative and eco-friendly consumer brands aimed at creating a healthier, more vibrant world. We are currently seeking a proactive and driven Sales and Operations Analyst to contribute significantly to the growth of our brands.

Our brand, Ingredients Matter, leads the way in sustainability within the laundry sector by utilizing environmentally friendly, plastic-free packaging. Meanwhile, Peet Brothers prioritizes ecological responsibility by omitting palm oil from its personal care offerings.

With a successful track record from Duke Cannon Supply Co., which experienced a remarkable growth trajectory over nine years, our emerging brands are positioned for significant success.

In this role, you will be instrumental in managing relationships with both new and existing clients in the Food, Drug, and Mass market segment. You will work closely with our leadership team, providing essential support in inventory management and vendor interactions as we aim for expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development

  • Manage and nurture relationships with current accounts to enhance sales performance.
  • Coordinate client meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product fulfillment.
  • Design and implement sales promotions tailored to each client.
  • Conduct sales reporting and analysis to track performance.

Sales Assistance

  • Maintain calendars for sales appointments and reviews to optimize the sales process.
  • Assist in managing direct customer interactions, including online platforms and product setups.
  • Support brokers by providing essential product and pricing information, as well as customer samples.
  • Collaborate with Operations to maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure timely product delivery.
  • Oversee sample distribution and customer order processing to ensure fulfillment.

Trade Show Coordination

  • Prepare for trade shows by organizing samples and marketing materials, and setting up booths.
  • Represent our brands at trade shows and engage with attendees.

Market Analysis

  • Stay updated on competitor activities, retail trends, and market developments.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor pricing strategies.

Inventory and Vendor Oversight

  • Manage inventory levels and collaborate with vendors for purchase order placements.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales support, preferably in a wholesale environment.
  • Strong business acumen and financial insight.
  • Effective presentation skills in both virtual and in-person formats.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds for sample management.
