Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support related to quality, supplier specification, and process improvement activities in our HVAC Applied Parts business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support to our North America Parts Business
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes, procedures, and policies to manage an appropriate quality system and all associated programs
  • Lead teams in quality problem resolution
  • Support resolution of technical issues from customers
  • Coordinate product returns authorization and non-conformity report resolution processes
  • Develop, train, and support warehouse personnel in all quality-related areas
  • Support materials and supply chain efforts related to supplier specification development, implementation, and adherence
  • Collaborate with key suppliers who provide material to our North America Parts business, assuring timely resolution of issues
  • Conduct internal and supplier quality system and process audits, including the coordination of all associated corrective actions
  • Coordinate database and reporting metrics for warranty, cost of quality, and supplier quality level
  • Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry codes and standards to support customer service efforts
  • Support in redesigning the Quality reporting system
  • Help rebuild the Warranty and NCR databases
  • Document Quality processes
  • Update the Management System Documentation and create process quizzes for Acadia (Warehouse)

Requirements

  • In school pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Masters preferred
  • Proficiency in Database Software, Manufacturing Software, Microsoft Office suite, and AS400
