Position Overview

The Analytical Instruments division within Water Technologies and Solutions is seeking a Sales Account Manager to oversee the tri-state area. This role is pivotal in representing our comprehensive range of industry-leading chemical and biological water testing solutions, including instruments, consumables, and services.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Business Development**: Leverage existing customer networks and install base to generate new business and surpass sales targets.
2. **Account Management**: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
3. **Sales Strategy**: Collaborate with internal sales support teams to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
4. **Performance Tracking**: Set and monitor sales account objectives aligned with corporate goals, analyzing metrics such as quarterly results and forecasts.
5. **Market Engagement**: Participate in trade shows and regional conferences to enhance brand visibility and create sales opportunities.

Qualifications

**Required**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences field.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in selling analytical instruments or capital equipment to biotech, biopharma, and life science sectors.

**Preferred**:
- Over 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales related to analytical instruments.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to solve complex problems.
- In-depth understanding of industrial applications relevant to our product lines.
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management and organizational abilities.

Working Conditions

- Travel requirements: 50%, including overnight stays.
- Physical demands: Ability to lift/carry up to 45 lbs.
