Medical Office Coordinator

The Front Desk/Medical Office role at Texas Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Group is a dynamic position that requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience, and providing administrative support to our orthopaedic surgeons and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient flow and coordinate appointments, procedures, and surgeries
- Process patient registration, insurance verification, and billing
- Collect and process payments, including co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and mail distribution
- Assist with special projects and events as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or administrative setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
