• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services, promoting U-Haul's offerings.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring, ensuring safe and secure connections.
• Fill propane and drive a forklift, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. May be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields. The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, and positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights. Moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted may be required.
