Respiratory Therapist

At the Detroit Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide respiratory therapy services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Responsibilities:- Provide therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop optimal cardiopulmonary care plans.
- Evaluate patient assessments and determine the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy.
- Instruct employees and students in respiratory care procedures and evaluate their competence.
- Graduation from an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
- Registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- BCLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
- Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.
