Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Essentia Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in respiratory therapy and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including mechanical ventilation, airway management, and critical care transport.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory care/therapy program.
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • State licensure in the appropriate state of practice.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
